Pay rate: $63.18 per hour on W2 without benefit
Location: 7654 N. 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021
Duration: 12 Months
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate health care needs of students and refer to appropriate specialist when necessary
- Administer immunizations and maintain records as deemed necessary by the school physician and in compliance with State laws
- Administer medications and maintain records including dosages and untoward effects
- Educate students in personal hygiene and total health care
- Make medical appointments
- Assist with doctor's clinics to describe the student's condition to the physician and interpret the medical information to the student and his/her parents; keep current medical records on each student; conduct routine surveys and annual screenings; keep parents apprised of student health status.
- Work with physicians at the Student Health Center and throughout the State of Arizona; manage student emergencies related to accidents and health care; communicate student health care needs to the instructional and residence hall staff; and take sign language classes for communication with deaf students
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Arizona.
